Head of HR Nordics

In close collaboration with the Chief Culture Officer, the Head of HR will play a key role in defining the vision for our clients HR function, developing new ways of working, and driving organizational change. This role is not just about managing processes—it’s about co-creating a culture and structure that empowers our people, aligns with our company values, and supports our strategic goals.
Crucially, the incumbent must be comfortable "living in the flux", navigating ambiguity, and building collaborative solutions with teams, peers, primary points of contacts, and leadership.

Responsibilities
- Lead the HR team and business partnering function to effectively deliver the HR strategy and operational support with full consideration towards commercial needs and risk mitigation
- Provide strategic guidance to the CEO and leadership team on people-related matters, including workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
- Serve as a key driver in developing and implementing organizational change initiatives.
- Talent strategy including talent management and engagement: Develop key executive talent to ensure the highest level of performance possible in-role and create an organisation wide succession plan
- Oversee, optimize and standardise HR operations ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance with local regulations in the Nordic countries.
- Lead the design and implementation of core HR processes, such as recruitment, on/offboarding, performance management, learning and development, compensation, benefits and rewards, and payroll.
- Develop the HR Strategic Plan for delivery of the HR services and practices in line with business requirements. Establishing functional KPI's and evaluating team performance
- Deliver training and development
- Implement and ensure the appropriate use of HR technology in the business. Ensure development of chosen technology platforms to suit the business
- Together with Chief Culture Officer, oversee all talent identification
- Execute recruitment processes, hiring and onboarding
Key Qualifications
- Extensive experience in HR leadership roles, with a proven track record of designing and implementing HR functions and processes.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, desirably in an international or Nordic context.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop diverse, geographically distributed teams.
- Expertise in organizational development, change management, and culture building.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and "living in the flux," with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.

Essential
- 1O+ years of work experience within people programs, people experience, HR, people analytics, consulting, or related field
- 5+ years of people leadership experience
- Solid People Development/HR Director background from large organizations, and being part of management teams
- Solid HR toolkit and experience from developing and establishing HR structures and processes
- Leading and developing diverse and geographically spread teams
- Digitalization, increasing efficiency through technology and data driven way of working
- Experience from running training and development through a school in cooperation with other functions
- Matrix organization and management of complex Primary Points of Contact in an international setting
- Excellent understanding of business and financial acumen
- Excellent written and spoken English and at least one Nordic language
- Experience from a franchise business model, multi-site business, food & beverage/hospitality and retail is considered meritorious
