Communications Manager to Orkla Wound Care
We are now looking for a Communications Manager to support the leadership teams in Orkla Wound Care and Orkla Care Sweden. The Communications Manager oversees the implementation of both internal and external communication strategies, handles all internal and external communications for the companies including media relations, corporate messaging and digital communications, ensuring its message is consistent and engaging. The responsibility includes managing external communication channels like social media platforms, company websites and media relations, writing excellent content for company intranet, newsletters, press releases or memos - and supporting the company’s brand by publishing content and marketing materials. The role is also responsible for handling the communication in connection with contingency cases. The Communications Manager reports to the CEO in Orkla Wound Care with a functional reporting to the Managing Director in Orkla Care Sweden.
You are a confident communicator and presenter, both written and oral, with excellent organizational and planning skills. It is important that you are a genuine team player with the ability to foster good and positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You have a strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital and SoMe with proficiency in various communication and publishing tools like film, photography and social media. Experience in crisis- and change communications is an advantage.
You have a university degree and/or other relevant higher education and we believe that you have a minimum of five year´s experience of corporate and strategic communication. We also believe that you have experience from an international environment and a similar position in a matrix organization. You are fluent in English, written and oral.
Business Unit Orkla Wound Care (OWC), a part of Orkla Health, develops and distributes consumer products in Wound Care, and First Aid products for workplaces and industrial customers. The business is divided in three main segments, B2C, B2B, and semi-finished. The main brands include Salvequick, Salvelox, and Norgesplaster within B2C, and Cederroth First Aid, Snögg, and Salvequick within B2B. The products in the consumer portfolio are sold mainly through the grocery food trade and pharmacy channels, whereas products to industrial customers in the B2B portfolio are sold mainly through distributors, wholesalers, and retailers within industrial personal protection equipment, office supplies HoReCa etc. The semi-finished segment is contract manufacturing of material to produce ECG electrodes. Orkla Wound Care Operating revenues amounts to app SEK 900 million in 2023.
